First installation using our new long range wireless network of sensors New Westminster, BC9/6/2017 We have completed successfully a controller system installation in a 7-floor large concrete building complex, having multiple zones and multiple high-efficient boiler cascades. The SHM Controller system performs as expected, needing only a single antenna to provide sufficient wireless coverage to the many SHM wireless sensors placed around the property.

We have completed testing of our new DigiMesh 900MHz radio technology for our wireless sensors, and converted all our existing installation to this new wireless technology. This networking mesh technology is superior to the ZigBee 2.4GHz technology we have used to date with only a marginal cost difference. The wireless range of our sensors is now considerably longer, battery life time is longer (although obviously it’s too soon to have actual field results of battery life time, so results are based only on lab tests), wireless network security, reliability and responsiveness are also visibly improved with much less interference from walls and other near by wireless transmissions. |
